Ocean Nine
The most photogenic. Four of its nine holes run directly along the Caribbean Sea, with ocean wind affecting every approach shot. The par-3 5th hole — played directly over the water — is one of the most photographed in the entire Caribbean. If you're bringing a photographer, this nine is a must.
Tortuga Nine
The most technical. Named because its layout resembles a turtle from above. Short game is everything here — elevated greens, well-placed bunkers, and fairways that punish distance chasers. Perfect for golfers who want to test their ball-striking.
Arrecife Nine
"Arrecife" means reef. This nine winds through lagoons, palms, and tropical vegetation that create an atmosphere completely different from the other two. Ideal for players who want as much visual enjoyment as competitive challenge.
Recommended combination: Ocean + Arrecife — the best mix of ocean holes and tropical scenery. Perfect for first-time visitors.

Hole 7 — Ocean Nine (Par 5, ~530 yards)
The longest and perhaps most strategic hole. The decision of whether to attack the elevated green in two — with water and bunkers waiting — defines who you are as a golfer. A birdie here is worth double.
Hole 4 — Arrecife Nine (Par 4, ~420 yards)
A left dogleg with a lagoon running the entire approach side. Deceptively simple from the tee, devastating if you miss position off the fairway. One of Pete Dye's best designs in the entire Caribbean.
La Cana vs. Corales: Which One to Play?
This is the question we get most often. Both courses share the same resort. The difference is in the player profile:
La Cana is more accessible, more relaxed on access restrictions, and more affordable. Ideal for all skill levels, first visits to Punta Cana, and mixed groups.
Corales is the PGA TOUR venue. More demanding, more exclusive, more expensive. Ideal for serious golfers who want to say they played where the pros play.

Nine Ocean
El más fotogénico. Cuatro de sus nueve hoyos bordean el Mar Caribe directamente, con el viento marino afectando cada approach shot. El hoyo 5 de este nine — un par 3 sobre el agua — es uno de los más fotografiados de todo el Caribe. Si vienes con un fotógrafo, este nine es obligatorio.
Nine Tortuga
El más técnico. Lleva ese nombre porque su diseño en plano recuerda la forma de una tortuga. Aquí el juego corto lo es todo — greens elevados, bunkers bien colocados y fairways que te castigan si vas a buscar la distancia.
Nine Arrecife
El más escénico internamente. "Arrecife" significa reef en español, y el nine bordea lagunas, palmeras y vegetación tropical que crean una atmósfera completamente diferente a los otros dos. Ideal para quienes buscan disfrute visual tanto como competencia.
Combinación recomendada: Ocean + Arrecife — te da la mejor mezcla de hoyos frente al mar y paisaje tropical. Ideal para visitantes que vienen por primera vez.

Hoyo 7 — Nine Ocean (Par 5, ~530 yardas)
El hoyo más largo y quizás el más estratégico. La decisión de si arriesgas en el segundo palo hacia el green elevado —con agua y bunkers esperando— define quién eres como golfista. Un birdie aquí vale doble.
Hoyo 4 — Nine Arrecife (Par 4, ~420 yardas)
Un dogleg izquierdo con laguna en todo el lado del approach. Aparentemente simple desde el tee, devastador si pierdes la posición en el fairway. Uno de los mejores diseños de Pete Dye en todo el Caribe.
La Cana vs. Corales: ¿Cuál Jugar?
Esta es la pregunta que nos hacen con más frecuencia. Ambos campos están en el mismo resort y ambos son diseños de primera. La diferencia está en el perfil de jugador:
La Cana es más accesible, más relajado en cuanto a restricciones de acceso y más económico. Ideal para golfers de todos los niveles, para primera visita a Punta Cana y para grupos mixtos.
Corales es el campo sede del PGA TOUR. Más exigente, más exclusivo, más caro. Ideal para golfistas serios que quieren decir que jugaron donde los pros juegan.
